Liebe Freunde und Bekannte

Ich möchte Euch gerne zu meinen Konzerten einladen.

Mit grosser Freude verkünde ich, dass ich zum ersten Mal am Sonntag, 6. Mai mit „Henry“ in Frankreich spiele. Das Konzert findet im Rahmen des Festivals „Jazz sous les pommiers“ in Coutances statt. Am 17. Mai präsentiere ich mit meiner Band NICOLE JO das Jubiläumsalbum „20“ in der Villa Schneckenmann in Zürich in einem sehr schönen Ambiente. Da es nicht viel Platz hat, empfehle ich allen, Sitzplätze zu reservieren. Ihr könnt mir einfach eine E-Mail schreiben. Danach gehts gleich weiter in die Saarbrücker Kettenfabrik im schönen Saarland. Mitte Mai trete ich bei den St. Wendeler Jazztagen auf mit dem Rémi Panossian Trio.

Nach langer Suche habe ich meine bisherige Saxophon-Familie erweitert mit einem Baritonsaxophon der Marke Weltklang. Das Instrument stammt noch aus DDR-Zeiten. Ich spiele ein Baritonmundstück von JodyJazz. Es ist ein junges Unternehmen in den USA. Ich habe mich dort um ein Endorsement beworben, und nun bin ich JodyJazz Artist. Jetzt wird fleissig geübt.

I am very happy to announce that from now on I play on baritone the JodyJazz Hr*Baritone 7 mouthpiece. The sound is very full and soft. If you switch instruments you need to have a comfortable mouthpiece that let you doing that very easy. Check out my video: HR* Baritone 7

In 2017 the Moods Jazz Association celebrates its 25th Birthday. To mark this occasion, a competition has launched which invites all musicians to compose a Birthday Song. I applied with a song which I composed after I saw this wonderful idea! And I applied with a song which I composed as Birthday Song. All was anonym! And my Song reached the 1st prize! Thanks a lot to the jury and congrats to the other winners!
